Emocionante y memorable encuentro. Jugadas de un lado y otro, hat-trick de Raúl de los pocos que se ven, remontada con más fútbol y pasión. Sobre todo, la esperanza de que se puede revertir la situación de ser escolta.
Pero no todo fue tan claro como ese 4-2 en el marcador final, Real Madrid fue literalmente arrollado por el vendaval de Sevilla durante 20 minutos. Sin poder armar jugadas de ataque, alejando los balones peligrosos como sea, sin reacción por parte de Guti y con Lass incansable a la caza del balón. Sevilla seguía con el libreto de buscar el gol a como de lugar, cada jugada de ataque era acompañado por no menos de 4 jugadores camino a la portería de Casillas. Así a los 17 minutos los locales se ponían delante tras una escapada por la izquierda y centro al medio del área chica, un gol muy parecido al que marcó Getafe en el partido anterior. Dudas sobre Metzelder tras la suspensión de Pepe, Torres que poco hizo para evitar el primero en contra.
Poco a poco Sevilla bajó las revoluciones y cedió el balón a la visita, que poco hizo para acercarse al arco rival, Guti e Higuaín fueron bien marcados, las subidas de Ramos no encontraban apoyo para el centro o pase en profundidad. Marcelo fue apareciendo en escena para intentar inquietar la banda izquierda y alguno que otro remate al arco, Higuaín también supo eludir a la defensa por el centro y Raúl siempre cerca para aprovechar las oportunidades. Ya en la agonía del partido vendría la jugada del gol por derecha, apareció Metzelder como extremo y abriéndose paso dio el centro con lo justo para que Raúl marcase el empate.
El segundo tiempo Sevilla intentó repetir lo mostrado en los primeros minutos del partido pero sin resultado alguno, Real Madrid fue a buscar el encuentro, Guti, Marcelo e Higuaín salieron en busca y el control del balón dando algo de tranquilidad a su defensa. Transcurridos 63 minutos, Higuaín pelea un balón que en principio no llevaba peligro, Torres aprovecha el despiste de los rivales y se mete entre los defensas, recibe el pase del argentino y centra para que Raúl, otra vez, la ponga dentro de las redes. Era el 2-1 que no imaginaba Sevilla.
Pocos minutos después vendría el tercero, Guti ve solo a Higuaín por derecha, el "pipita" mete un centro bajo que es mal atrapado por el portero rival que da rebote, Raúl agradecería el favor y haría el hat-trick para el Real Madrid.
Huntelaar entraría en lugar del 7 blanco, quien perdió velocidad de cara al ataque. Javi García reemplazaría a Guti buscando tomar mayor control del balón y aprovechar los huecos que dejaba Sevilla en busca del empate. La cosa parecía funcionar hasta el minuto 80, un centro con relativo peligro en el que Ramos fue sorprendido por la astucia del rival puso las cosas 3-2 en el marcador. Minutos fatales en que los blancos volvieron a los pelotazos y rechaces de balón como vinieran. Ni Van der Vaart que entró para generar algo de ataque y control de balón pudo hacer algo. Ya en los descuentos Marcelo aprovecharía un grueso error de la defensa, aprovechando el pase de Huntelaar y marcando con todo el tiempo del mundo para sentenciar el partido.
La cosa se puede poner aun más emocionante con una nueva victoria, un solo punto separaría el campeonato de Liga y las esperanzas andarían por mil.

Emoción y más emoción, aunque viene siendo notable la falta de buen fútbol en Real Madrid, el encuentro de hoy fue uno de esos inolvidables. Inolvidable por la forma en que se consiguió la victoria, con mucha más pasión que técnica. Pero inolvidable desde el otro lado por la vergonzosa actuación de Pepe ante el rival caído. Amarga victoria.
Primer tiempo de desastre para el Real Madrid, Getafe llevó el ritmo del partido, ya desde el principio del encuentro advertía con un tiro fallado que pasó cerca del arco de Casillas. Gago impreciso hasta la desesperación, cada balón recuperado era un pase errado, Van der Vaart y Guti inútiles en el medio ofensivo del campo, la apuesta por ese tridente que diera oportunidades a Huntelaar y Raúl no pudo ser peor, sólo Higuaín pudo resaltar más por ganas que por buen fútbol. Poco se pudo hacer para evitar estar abajo en el marcador, Pepe anduvo errante y fue un error suyo el que dejara camino libre al delantero visitante para anotar de cabeza. Muchas faltas por parte de los blancos como una muestra más de lo endeble que se situaba en el partido. Getafe fue claro dominador en los 45 minutos, pero sería el minuto 46 el que pondría las cosas más tranquilas de cara al segundo tiempo, Gago que mete el balón de cabeza hacia el área chica y Raúl que la peina ante el avance de Higuaín quien con mucha fuerza y sangre fría busca el momento preciso para dejar a defensa y portero y marcar con tiro suave el empate.
Iniciado el segundo tiempo Real Madrid fue con todo lo que tenía para buscar la victoria, Robben reemplazaría a un nulo Van der Vaart, mientras estuvo la zona derecha fue una zona de preocupación para la visita, no dudaría mucho el peligro del holandés en el campo pues saldría lesionado dando entrada a Drenthe por esa banda, Cannavaro también sería reemplazado por García. Los blancos tendrían oportunidades clarísimas de anotar, Huntelaar pudo poner el segundo pero el portero se lo quitó de los pies, Higuaín tampoco estuvo fino a la hora del disparo.
A los 38 vendría la pesadilla en forma de gol, contragolpe letal de la visita dejando con poco que hacer a Casillas para evitar la caída. Un 2 - 1 que no sólo lo celebraba el Getafe. Cuando todo parecía tornarse a la mayor oscuridad aparece Guti en su segunda mejor jugada del partido, la primera fue un pase en profundidad a Huntelaar. Tiro libre perfectamente ejecutado por el 14 blanco, fuerte a la esquina sin posibilidad de ser atajado.
Getafe tendría la oportunidad de ponerse otra vez adelante en el marcador, una execrable jugada de Pepe con el rival caído lo dejaría fuera del partido, una tarjeta roja que significa muy poco por lo hecho, nada puede justificar tal abuso cometido por el portugués, hechos así nunca se deben ver en un partido de fútbol. Castigo severo para el defensa madridista.
Tiro penal para Getafe, minuto 45 y la victoria en las manos, todo para aguar la fiesta en el mismo Bernabéu pero un tiro regalo que Casillas adivinó devolvió al Madrid al partido. 5 minutos en los que se dejó todo en la cancha, tiros fallados, atajados, minuto a minuto los blancos veían como se iban esfumando 2 puntos de local. Pero uno de los mejores jugadores se encargaría de dejar las cosas claras: Higuaín camino al arco, se deshace de un par de defensas y con un disparo fuerte a la esquina de la portería provoca el delirio del público, 3 - 2 que siguen dando esperanzas ante un partido difícil que tiene el líder al siguiente día.
